Thanks Giving |
On behalf of the Waswahili Community Trust, I am privileged to have this opportunity to express our thanks to all our guests, who have made such a tremendous effort to be with us during this important occasion. In particular those who are coming from outside London.
But, above all, our many thanks are also to those who have participated in the preparation of the speeches, and addressing them to the congregation on this very signicant day. The speeches, however, were very enjoyable, informative, and educating. They have covered wide ranging of subjeCts from spiritual Islamic issues to the matters concerning civil society.
As always we invite our visitors for your feedback.
Now I would also, like to express our thanks to the members of the Maulid committe, who have sacrifice a lot of their time in organising this event. Also, most importantly our thanks are to the wider community who have taken trouble to come. And we thank many others who have made a positive contribution for the success of this event.
As a webmater and web editor, I would like to apologise, on behalf of the organaisation for having delayed in doing this job. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to employ a professional webmaster. So, this website is the result of the voluntary work. Again, all the speeches, were given in Swahili. These have to be translated into English before developing them into web pages.
In this regards we accept full responsibility, if in the way of translation, there is some misrepresentation. For the speech writers, please let us know if any corrections are needed, and we are going to effect the amendments accordingly.
The speeches above were not edited in full. The full texts from the above speeches are available in the video cassette only in the Swahili language. Should any of our visitors require to have the full text of the video cassette, please let us know, using the FORM in the homepage. And we are going to let you have the price.
